Moonton has released Patch 1.8.08, a balance update that adjusts heroes, items, and emblems to improve gameplay across Mobile Legends. The patch introduces a new item, reworks several existing ones, and applies targeted buffs and nerfs to a wide roster of heroes, reflecting the developers' ongoing efforts to refine the competitive landscape.
The Great Dragon Spear is a new physical item designed for aggressive ultimate usage. It provides +70 Physical Attack, +10% Cooldown Reduction, and +20% Crit Chance. Its unique passive, Supreme Warrior, grants 15% extra Movement Speed for 7.5 seconds after casting an ultimate, with a 15-second cooldown. The item costs 2140 gold and builds from Iron Hunting Bow, Legion Sword, and Javelin.
Natalia receives a major camouflage mechanic overhaul. She now enters camouflage after staying in a bush for 1 second, but any damage taken immediately breaks the effect. While she no longer marks enemies, her Enhanced Basic Attacks persist for 1 second after leaving camouflage. Her initial critical damage increases from 140% to 150%, though Enhanced Basic Attack damage ratio is reduced from 130% to 110% Physical Attack. A bug fix ensures these attacks now deal proper damage to creeps and turrets.
Aulus now gains Fighting Spirit stacks upon dealing damage, with each stack providing 3–12 Physical Attack and 1–4 Physical Penetration. At maximum stacks, he also gains 10% extra Movement Speed and bonus Basic Attack damage. Yu Zhong's Sha Residue flight path is optimized; upon eruption, he gains 30% extra Movement Speed, and Sha Essence is removed. Leomord converts every 1% of his Crit Chance into 1 Physical Attack. Zilong's skill cooldown now resets if a minion dies within 0.5 seconds of him damaging it, improving his waveclear and reset potential.
Several other heroes received numeric adjustments. For example, Harith’s ultimate cooldown decreased from 45–39s to 30–24s, Franco’s skill damage increased, and Selena’s base damage lowered but skill ratios adjusted. Many heroes had cooldown reductions or damage tweaks to align with their intended roles. These changes include modifications to slow effects, attack speeds, and scaling across multiple abilities, reflecting a broad rebalancing effort.
One existing item is reworked: its Physical Attack dropped from 70 to 30, but it gains 20% Attack Speed and 20% Crit Chance. Its old passive is replaced with a new one that grants 20% extra Attack Speed on critical hits, and its price rises from 1810 to 2020. Another defensive item now reflects 30% damage before reduction (up from 20%) and has increased costs. Additional item price and build path changes round out the adjustments.
The Common Emblem’s hybrid regen is reduced from 15 to 12. Agility’s Movement Speed bonus drops from 5% to 4%, while Master Assassin’s damage increase rises to 5%. Life Drain’s mana regen improves to 2.5%, and Tenacity’s defense bonus is lowered to 15. Brave Smite HP regen decreases to 4%, but Killing Spree’s HP regen increases to 10%. These tweaks aim to fine-tune talent effectiveness across different playstyles.
Patch 1.8.08 focuses on balancing hero power, refreshing item builds, and adjusting emblem incentives, ensuring a healthier and more dynamic meta for Mobile Legends players.
